Housing Assignments are up!

Hey, so I am living in Warren Towers, in the A tower (Fairfield…i think) and I am on floor 15 in room 7A. Anybody heard anything good/bad about floor 15–its the WISE floor?

Thanks.

@swimchik2: according to From: www.bustudentunion.com/upload/backdoor.doc 1507A apparently as a good view

xhomefryy, you’d be surprized. If you get a lousy number as a freshman then your best choice is to stay in warren and get a corner double or any other room that you like. Especially A tower has a lot of sophomores. And some people (like myself) do it for the singles.

0716A is it good?

That’s gonna have a view on B tower, but you still don’t have to wait for elevators because it’s not that far up

Towers West!

SCORE!

I should have put Warren as my first choice. Stupid ol’ me :frowning: now I’m paying for my own stupidity.

People move in and out of warren all the time, just go to the housing office as soon as you arrive and you’ll be where you want sooner than you know it.

Does anyone know what type of view there is in building A have if they end in 23?

Those will be corner rooms, but not the large ones. They face the B tower, but still have a fairly good view on Comm Ave, CAS, the Charles etc.

How is tower C in warren? I’m rooming in 1318 if anyone knows anything about that specifically.

Yess, I’m in C too

I’m 3rd floor (COM) in West Campus. Claflin Hall :D

Ajibola,
I was in an -18 room in a high floor in C tower. The view’s awesome! You get sunsets because you face out West. I’m not sure exactly what you can see from your level, but I could see trees on the left side (Brookline), Commonwealth Ave towards West Campus in the middle with all the city lights, and the Charles on the left. It’s so gorgeous. Letting the view go was sad, haha!

So i found out who my roommate was yesterday and I have been talking to him on facebook to get to know more about him. Turns out he really isnt someone that I would get along well with. He described himself to me as someone that I would compare to my sister and her friends. The thing is that I really didnt get along with that croud. I dont want to go into much detail about them because I don’t want to hurt anyones feelings. So basically what I want to find out, is if there is an option to switch roommates in the future, if things dont work out between us. I normally wouldnt be this concerned about something like this, but my freshman year may be at stake.

You don’t have to be friends with this person, just live with them. As long as you can live together, even if you don’t even speak to each other, that’s fine. You can request a room change over the summer I believe. E-mail housing.

does the request have to be mutual?

I need to change my room but it has nothing to do with my roommate. The thing is I signed up for Warren but got into Sleeper in West. So I wanna change before I get to know/meet my rm so there will be no hard feeling b/w us. Can I do so over the summer?

No, I don’t think it has to be mutual. I would e-mail housing at housing@bu.edu for more information.

@Liri: You can do summer swap.

I’m going to be rooming in Warren towers (fairfield). Does anyone know what type of view rm 0918A has?? and also if its just the standard sized dorm?
