As a highlight to anyone on this side of campus… at least the psychology building is right across the street! Perhaps it’s a sign to become a psych major? The ability to park next to your dorm is always a plus.

Are we able to post generic dorm picture links on CC? As we are all about to move out and change rooms I don’t see the harm. I wouldn’t mind posting a few of the room empty and after I moved in. I might have a picture of the Gilchrist single too, not sure. I hate that housing can’t just provide more pictures or build models that are actually to scale. Most of the dorms have some kind of problem or another but a few more pictures of how homey people can make them might relieve some anxiety.

the housing website actually has 3d pictures of most of the dorms. Not Kellum, Smith, Ragans or McCollum though. But that would be a good idea Yau.

I absolutely loved my experience in Kellum Hall (lived there for two years) and would recommend that people ignore the rumors about west side halls. They are cheaper (although recently renovated so the bathrooms are super nice) and while they are far from some of the major classroom buildings, there is a bus stop in front of the halls that take you all over campus.

When I went to check I received this message: you have not yet been assigned to a space in University Housing for Spring 2010. Does this mean I didn’t get a dorm room for the fall or summer?

I think the problem is that sam is a freshman. They won’t do housing assignments for us until after May 1st (they’re released in June) because they don’t know for sure who is going or not.

Does anyone know how to find out our roommate’s name online? I got the paper in the mail with my roommate and facebook messaged her to find out that she cancelled the renewal, so I imagine someone is going to get reassigned there. Does anyone know if I will be notified (either online or through the mail) when this happens?
