Housing at Gtown

I understand housing at Georgetown is required (and thus guarenteed) for underclassmen and there is a lottery for upperclassmen. What are the chances of winning on campus housing as a upperclassmen and how popular of an option is this? What are the off campus options - im guessing they are VERY pricey.

Also can someone give the inside scoop on each of the 4 frosh dorms and how ones dorm is selected

it's actually quite popular for upperclassmen because on campus housing also includes the townhouses that are technically in the georgetown neighborhood..not necessarily exactly on campus.

The four freshman dorms are all randomly selected for you.

^^ there's the online tour which should help you~!

Darnall is doubles which empty into hallways with common bathrooms- there are built in closets tho.

New south is also doubles but there are sinks and mirrors in each room despite the common bathrooms.

village c west has smaller rooms due to the private bathrooms in every room.

darnall is suite style with 8 rooms sharing a common bathroom.

randomly selected - bummer- when do we find out

how hard is it to win the lottery so we can house on campus as an upperclassmen and where do most ppl live if they lose the lottery/how much do they end up paying
