<p>transferring in as a junior to one of the UC's (hopefully) fall 2015. Do any require on campus housing your first year as a transfer? Would any accommodate my current living situation (I have lived with my bf for 5 years) where a non-student can co-habitate if unmarried? Just one more thing I'd like to factor into my application decisions.</p>
<p>I can’t think of any that require you to live on-campus as a transfer. I think most schools UCs would expect you to find an off-campus apartment if that is your preference. Most UCs are surrounded by apartments though so, I’m sure you could find something that works for you. </p>
<p>I believe UCSD has guaranteed housing for first year transfers. Check out their housing website for more info! I remember reading about the option to live with non-student spouse.</p>
