Housing for Fall 2016 Transfers

Any ideas where to start looking for housing for the Fall? Ideally, building will mostly students/transfer students

You should give Res Life at Villanova a call and let them know you are an incoming transfer this fall. They can help you get in touch with other transfer students who are looking for roommates. Also heard that Home Properties of Bryn Mawr is a nearby apartment complex where lots of transfers and upperclassmen live - they even offer a shuttle to/from campus every day. Good luck!

Do you think it will be hard to adjust as a transfer living off campus as a sophomore?

Since living on campus is not an option for transfers this year, the key is to get involved early in activities that interest you - intramurals, Greek life, volunteer opportunities, etc. Be patient and put yourself out there - I’m sure you will make new friends - and an upbeat, positive attitude is key! Also there is a Transfer Orientation in late August so don’t miss that!
