Where do I start. I am a freshman at Villanova, and as much as I want to like it here, I just can’t. Firstly, I got horrible housing this year. At Villanova there is a whole freshman part of campus where all 1700 freshman reside. Even though I am a freshman, I wasn’t put on the freshman part of campus, therefore making it essentially impossible to meet people. Secondly, I received my housing selection time for next year, and it is awful. I am going to get bad housing for the second year in a row. Thirdly, I am on the ski team and rushed fraternities. I didn’t enjoy the ski team because it was a joke, and rush did not work out. This is really the worst of it, and has led to me being forced to sit in my dorm room every Friday and Saturday night. This Villanova area is not the most exciting of all places either. It isn’t a college town. My grades have been fine, and I enjoy the classes, but everything else has been disastrous this year.
Hey! I’m in the same boat as you I’m at Ohio University right now and hate it, I tried multiple things like you such trying to play tennis and rush a sorority and nothing worked out. I’m into week 6 of second semester and go home every weekend because I have nothing to do and no one to really hang out with. So next semester I’m transferring to a much smaller school in Ohio that is closer to home and just has a better vibe. I for sure would recommend that you look into transferring to a different school if you hate it there!
