oh wow. i think this is a sign from god that i should be a lesbian...I got Otero...after requesting coed allfrosh. damn.

i guess i'm starting a roster:
- Branner:
- Otero: Atticus (purplerain666)
- Gavilan:
- Frosoco:
- Alondra:

whatever else i don't remember...

There are a bunch of Stern dorms. And also the Wilbur ones.

What about wilbur hall? is it good? all frosh?

Otero is all frosh and the fact that it's not coed doesn't really matter cuz you can just go hang out on the second floor with the guys or in the lounge. The Otero staff for next year will be AMAZING. I think you guys will have different Resident Fellows which is tragic because the ones from last year were awesome.

The dorms in Wilbur are fairly plain but nice. I think all frosh in Wilbur is the best place to be for a freshman. You get Wilbur dining which is much better than Stern or FloMo or Branner, you have meals served every day of the week (including FloMo and Branner), you don't have tiny tiny rooms like Lag, and you are near Branner and Stern where a bunch of other freshman live. The size is perfect. With 80 students or so in the dorm you will get to know everyone pretty quickly. I think Branner is too big. I also prefer having just one roommate to having two (as you would have a two room triple in Branner). Four of the Wilbur dorms are all frosh, four are 4-class.

Marlgirl, how is Donner?

I got Ujamaa! That's the one with the african theme right?
Where is it located?

^yeah. did you ask for it? either way, it should be lots of fun.

csr43, all the people i knew from donner loved it. don't know that much about it specifically though.

No I didn't ask for it i just asked for a four class single sex floor, I think I got what I asked for, Ujamaa seems to be great!

are the dorms like subsections of main building, like the multiple wilbur dorms for example, or are they all different dorms in the same area.

how's roble? Do all freshman get placed in quads? Do freshman ever get singles or doubles? Are all the beds bunk beds?

do you know if freshmen in zapata get singles, too? or is it just upperclassmen?

I'm in Larkin. I heard that Stern is bad (ugly architecture, bad food) How upset should I be? Also, which meal plan do people recommend?

I got Burbank. Definetely not what I wanted. I'm really, really disappointed. Is it possible to change to all-frosh? Any chance at all?
Please help.

I stayed in Stern a few years ago for CTY. I thought it was pretty good (rooms reasonable size, etc.).

I'm probably getting the 19 meal/week thing, as it appears to be the better deal (If you go 14, you're trading your meals for $2 each).

But will you eat every single meal? I think 14 meals/week is bette for me because I haven't eaten breakfast in 10 years

I got Cardenal in FloMo, which means I probably got into SLE! Anyone know anything about Cardenal other than that (coed or what?)

I'm in Otero

I'm in Larkin, although I don't really know how it is. You can change the meal plan in the housing acceptance right?
