True, I just put my choices as they are, not trying to manipulate the system to give me my first choice, I'll be happy anyways

ew. some of that looks like liver. >: (

i actually got to meet pebbles. very briefly. =P

I MET THE PEBBLES and she rocked.

...get it? pebbles.. rocked. yeah.

...>< That was equivalent to one of my dad's jokes.....very bad

Anthony has blogged finally about East Campus as a dorm to live in, from the standpoint of someone who lives there (and I know there are several other denizens lurking in this very thread....). He's calling his post "Part One" so there might be follow-up posts.

Wow, I just got an email from one of the Random housemasters saying I'd been assigned there and welcoming me for fall 2006. Does that mean the lottery assignments are complete? Has anyone else gotten a similar email?

i might expect that from Random, but not from the other dorms. the dorms find out earlier than you do, because after dorms are assigned, the dorms have to assign rooms.

I just got an email from Random as well.
(Woot!)

So the rest of us who weren't trying for Random have to wait a few more weeks? Sigh...

unfair. haha.

At least we know that we didn't get placed into Random, if we didn't get an email.

Guys. Why be so complacent? I support not gaming the system, but you do realize that you don't make your final housing decision until you've been on campus a few days?

I promise that you will be much happier if you find a place that is truly awesome for you and not just adequate.

Seriously, I literally ended up living directly above the room I was originally placed but if I had been forced to live in that original room I would have been miserable. That's how drastic a change can be even from floor to floor. So never just settle for where they place you, if you know where you want to live really try to get there. Talk to people, make moves. That's what I did and it ended up being the best year of my life.

Yeah, I still haven't really figured out where I want to live, and I'm a rising sophomore. Learn from me. =P

Hmm... so I didn't get a Random e-mail... perhaps I got my second choice?
