HOUSING? Nervous

Well my parents went on vacation and they won't get back till the May 1st deadline. What dorm in New Brunswick do you expect I will get if i apply the last day? I am happy with livingston, college ave, busch just not cook/douglas?

Please help thanks.

I’m just wondering why you can’t submit housing now? You could just ask for credit card info over the phone for the deposit, right?

Hmm, you might not get College Avenue considering how “popular” it is.

Cook/Douglass isn’t that bad (unless you feel it might be inconvenient for you in terms of class times). I was there the other day and it was actually nice =] I mean, people riding their bikes, tanning on the lawn in front of Woodlawn while listening to music. And Douglass has good dining hall food, so I’ve heard from many (I need to make my way over there one day to eat!)

But I guess I see it differently since I don’t live there and was only there for like 3 hours on Friday.

At this point, I think ANY housing is good housing. Not some stinkin’ hotel off campus =*(

Freshmen are guaranteed housing right? (not hotels)

Yep! Only some of us upperclassmen and transfer students are being put into hotels . . . or so I’ve heard.

what’s wrong with cook/douglass? :(

Aww Naoise, don’t feel down, haha.

Actually, I want to know too. Like I stated, I don’t live there, but was there for a couple of hours on such a gorgeous (and hot!) day and I just LOVED it.

The only “problem” I could see someone having with it is the fact that it may be a bit of an inconvenience in terms of distance from the other 3 campuses, even with the REXB and REXL buses.

Even the distance is not that bad, I can walk from C/D to College Ave in about 25 minutes if I don’t feel like cramming into the bus.
