Housing options

Based on my stats I will be in the honors program and a DA to Kelly. Problem is that I cant afford the housing that goes with those LCC. Can anyone please tell me about the Co-op option in Wright or the Resident's scholars program. Would really like to save the money and do the Co-op but worried about who my roommate might be. Like the academics associated with Residents Scholar program but not sure I want to live in single as a freshman. I am from OOS so I want to be able to meet people.

Thanks in advance

bump…

This board doesn’t get a lot of traffic, you don’t have to bump a thread when it’s still the first one. We’re not HS Life over here

Not that it really matters but the reason I bumped it was because it was not the first one. I am in HS and this board has been very helpful to me. If you dont want to be helpful then dont waste your time posting…perhaps you are the one that needs to get a life

My friend’s daughter is a freshman in the Resident’s Scholars program and lives in a single. She did have some issues initially meeting people (she tends to be introverted)in her dorm. Keeping your door open when you are in your room and taking the initiative to start a conversation with other students will go a long way towards meeting people. Find activities and clubs you are interested in and you will meet many people. My daughter is a senior at IU and has made many friends in classes, volunteer work, campus job, Bible study, at the gym, and also in the dorm her first year. You will not have any problem making friends if you make an effort to meet people.

Thank you for your reply…it is appreciated
