<p>Hey all, i'll be a freshman at CC this coming fall. Just had a couple of questions regarding housing:</p>

<p>1) Does the housing profile have any bearing on whether you get a single/dbl room (assuming too many ppl apply for doubles/singles and housing has to decide on people to give the shaft)? i.e. traits like being messy/neat, higher inclination of having people stayover etc, which may be more desirable for either option.</p>

<p>2) Do people ever not get their top 2-3 choices?</p>

<p>Just a little concerned over housing. Pardon my paranoia.</p>

<p>1) I’m pretty sure that has no bearing on whether you get a single or double.
2) It definitely happens. I know someone who was assigned housing that wasn’t even one of her choices, but from what I can tell, that’s rare.</p>

<p>I would say about 70% get one of their top 2 choices, but 10-15% of the student body gets screwed by being placed in one of their lowest choices (the most transfer requests typically come from people in doubles, usually in the LLC).</p>
