Housing question for UCF students

Choosing housing for fall and considering Citrus, Flagler and/or Sumter Halls in Libra community. Not actually seen the rooms, but heard that they are large, but don't open to hallway but to somekind of shared living space? I'm thinking there might be some extra study space and social aspects, but maybe more noise and lack of privacy. Not really sure how it works, though.

Would really appreciate folks sharing your experiences in those halls. How many rooms actually open up to those shared spaces? Pros/Cons?

Thanks

The living space you’re talking about sounds like Apollo.

When clicking on “room preferences” under myucf, it now says this:

The room and roommate preference system is closed for summer 2009 and fall 2009. No more preferences can be accepted as we prepare room assignments.

Good luck!
