Housing question

Plazas looked real nice....but i here it is not real social in plazas as it is in residence halls...is this true? what do u guys prefer?

My Plaza is not social in the sense that no one really keeps their doors open. If you want to be social, you can be, even if you are in a plaza. When the semester starts, you will have a chance to interact with your Plaza house and if you like them you can be really social and do events with them.

I like the amount of space a Plaza has and I like a private bathroom (I hear some Plazas have shared, so I don't think shared = exclusively to Plazas)

yea i aw the rooms and the plaza did have a lot more room....but do upperclassmen usually live in plazas?

no, I think the amount of freshmen and upperclassmen in plazas are pretty much even. Quite a few upperclassmen actually go back to resident halls though, because they're a lot cheaper and generally more fun/social. I'm a first year in a plaza right now, next year I'm going to a res hall. And I think most people move out to apartments their 3rd or 4th year.

Two D's went to UCLA. Both said res halls are the most social and great for freshmen the first year trying to meet people and get involved. One even returned to res hall for soph yr.
