<p>Does anyone know if housing at Berkeley is on a rolling basis (first come, first served)? Or does everyone have the same chance of getting housing if they just submit their SIR by May 1st?</p>

<p>I would guess that all who wanted Unit X would be placed in a lottery. If they didn't get it, then their second choice would be placed in a lottery, etc etc.</p>
