"pretty likely" to be zero, or is there a chance ill get a double?

pretty likely to be zero.........doubles are completely gone in the plazas and res halls after the room sign ups for current students.......i dont know if they "save" any doubles for any of the incoming freshman but i highly doubt it. The closure of Sproul really messed up housing next year :-/

They must save doubles. I know alot of first-years who got doubles this year, even in De Neve, so I would think they must save some.

hmmm... kinda odd that the number of double and triple rooms in each building has been taken off the housing website and replaced with just the total number of rooms...

well next year will be a whole different situation than this year. this year they opened two new halls (summit and vista) which added a lot of doubles. next year, theyre closing sproul and opening terrace, which houses like 200 less people than sproul. on top of that, theyre expecting a lot more on campus residents than this year.

im in a double right now, and I wonder how much worse a triple can get.

(and no, cking, guess again. Ask armaiti. sorry, I'm enjoying this a little too much :) )

haha... born2slack, i know who you are! maybe i'll venture out of my room to the other side of the floor to say hi sometime this weekend...

Oh and, to actually get back on topic, i do believe that some rooms are reserved for incoming freshmen so don't worry! i remember last year when my room mate and i signed up for rooms, our current room was practically the only room available in our building and it turns out that there's quite a few first-years living on our floor (as born2slack can confirm.)

woot, a Lancaster native. =)

I'm from Lancaster High School Class of '06, just got accepted.

Another coincidence to add to the soup.

LnHS? Eww... It's all about Antelope Valley HS... Lol. Just kidding - Being a Bruin and despising Trojans is much more fun... ;-)
