Okay so how do housing requests work for people who want to live on campus as 2nd years/3rd years etc...? Are our times assigned like enrollment times? (randomly and w/ priorities for certain students (Alum Scholars, Regents Scholars, Honors, AAP, PLUS students etc...)

How does the process work? Can someone please fill me in? Thank you!!! :)

um... that's more or less correct. we are pretty much assigned random times and have a time limit to pick a room. i'm not quite sure who gets priority though... but I don't think all of those organizations get housing priority though I could be wrong about that...

Your housing selection works very similar to your course enrollment selection on URSA. First, once you've signed up for on-campus housing The Housing Office will e-mail you with an enrollment appointment time and a special code. When your assigned time comes, you have to log onto a secure website and sign up for a room online (by clicking on a building and then a specific room on its floor plan) and then specify your desired roommate(s). You have to tell your special code to all your desired roommate(s) and you have to know theirs as well for the mutual assignment to work. I don't know who really gets priority on the whole housing thing though...

Priorities are given by years in school and even greater priorities are given to a limited amount of students who work for housing and manage to get themselves on the priority list (card access swipers or front desk/mail room). You can just coordinate w/ your third roommate during the actual room picking process.
