I was accepted to UCF earlier this month but I'm not entirely sure if I will go the for certain. Should I apply for housing anyway? I want to stay in the towers but I know space is limited. If I make the deposit, will I get it back if I don't go to UCF?

I don’t think so - before you can choose housing, you have to pay the $200 enrollment deposit. If you end up going to UCF, it goes towards tuition, if not, you don’t get it back. Then, about 24 hours later, you get to select a general area of housing, ie. dorms, the hospitality school 45 minutes away, or the towers. This takes you to the screen of putting down $250 for a spot, and then you wait until like March when housing selection opens.

At least, that’s the point I’m on right now.

No- you don’t get the money back.

Housing is completely separate from admissions. You can secure housing at any time without paying the ADMISSIONS deposit.
For summer 2011 it is $100 non-refundable
For fall 2011 it is $250 with a $150 refund.
