<p>I plan on attending Fall 2011. Does anyone know when incoming freshman students select their residence hall preferences? I sent in my deposit, but I haven't received any information on housing. Also, do you recommend a certain residence hall? Should I stay away from
any at all costs? Thanks in advance.</p>

<p>Unless they changed it this year, you actually have no way to choose your residence hall outside of living-learning communities.</p>

<p>You can’t CHOOSE your residence hall, but you can give them your top three preferences.</p>

<p>Well, romanigypsyeyes, you were right. They did get rid of listing your three residence hall preferences. I just got my housing contract. Now the only thing you can do is after they assign you to a hall, you can get put on a waiting list (that’s where you can put three preferences) and they’ll fit you in when spaces become available. crap</p>
<p>How annoying. I wish we got to choose.</p>
