I just got accepted to UCF today, but it says that they aren't accepting any housing applications for on campus housing this upcoming term. I don't understand how they can accept someone then say there's no way to apply for on campus housing. DO they set aside on campus housing for transfers? Or is it just all off campus? is there anything i can do?

The only other “On campus housing” available would be at the Rosen Campus. Everything on the Main Campus is full. As Transfer students, we aren’t guaranteed housing unlike incoming Freshmen who have first dibs on resident halls on campus. They definitely make that clear early on. That’s why I made sure to have other options just in case something like all the housing filling up did happen. When I was accepted and went to apply for housing, almost ALL of the Towers apartments were full. Checked a week later and the only housing available was at Rosen and that has not changed. I’ve checked just about every day since then and it’s been maybe a month.

I would suggest checking out the Rosen campus to see if that would interest you (the downside is that it is about 45 minutes away, but a shuttle comes to and from the Rosen campus to the main campus M-Th) and checking out some of the apartments and homes around the area.

Rosen is way too far for a normal student to live at. Your best bet is checking out the nearby student apartments.
