<p>so now that I've been accepted, I wanted to get my housing app in ASAP, but since I'm 17, apparently I need a code or something for my parent to cosign the application. So are they sending me this soon?</p>
<p>A letter from campus housing usually comes in the mail 1-3 weeks after you get your acceptance letter with all the codes and information about the housing application</p>

<p>yes you can but why such a rush? housing priority is based on the date you applied to Clemson so it doesn’t matter when you apply.</p>

If you decide to choose a roommate to live with on the housing application rather than let the university choose for you, priority is the average of you and your roommate’s Clemson application dates. <p>oh really? that’s just great. I applied august 28th. The app becomes available august 1st btw. so whats the best way to find a roommate? I’m on ■■■■■■■■ but I haven’t gotten anything from it, however I have gotten friend requests from the facebook groups.</p>
<p>usually people fill out and post a roommate survey about themselves. Someone needs to get that going in the facebook group (I’m not gonna do that since it’s already creepy enough I’m commenting on random posts and people are probably wondering who the heck I am if I’m not a freshman haha).</p>

<p>haha yeah I’ve noticed all your input. It’s nice though, you’re like the human Siri. So should I just trust the match survey, or should I try to find someone? I REALLY want Clemson House. I want the kitchenettes.</p>
<p>it’s really up to you and what you feel comfortable with. I went random and ended up with good roommates. We’re not best friends but we got along really well and had no problems. The chances of finding a good or bad roommate are about the same either way you choose. You don’t know what you’re going to get with a random roommate and you don’t know what a person is really like outside of facebook.</p>
<p>yeah that’s a great point. I really want to have a roommate that I can be friends with, but since there’s no rush it looks like I have time to think over how I’m going to get one and get Clemson House.</p>
