I applied to Clemson in November, however my potential roommate only applied a few weeks ago. I know when you request a roommate it goes by the later person's application date. We both applied for a living and learning community, so that's obviously our first choice housing. I'm sure there will still be room for me, but if it's full by the time they get to her will they take me out to go into wherever she is or will I still get my first pick, only without her?

No, I think they will make you stick with the roommate you applied with. If you really want to get into the learning community (to be honest), you might not get in if your roommate only applied a few weeks ago.

I applied for housing on 3/11. Do you think I will get a decent room?

you may not get your first choice, 3/11 is kinda late.

I thought priority was determined by your application date not when you turned in the housing form.

oh oops, that is correct, priority is determined by your application date

I didn’t read that correctly and thought you applied for admissions on 3/11

so is it looking a little better for me?

haha yeah definitely

alright sweet thanks
