I’m gonna be a freshman for 2015 and I wanted to know the best fit. I’m a girl from California, not gonna join a sorority, would like to live in a freshman majority co-ed dorm. I have to stay on campus for thanksgiving break so preferably somewhere that is open. My top 3 are: Rogers, Gannon-Goldsworthy, Streit-Perham
Thanks!
@claudia318, have you applied for housing yet? My daughter is a freshman in Goldsworthy, decent enough dorm, almost all freshmen, most of her floor joined sororities. It is super close to Southside dining hall and in a good spot for getting to classes. Rogers and Streit/Perham will have more Soph/Junior/Senior living there. Streit is on the northside of campus, close to the rec center, and will have a bit of a different feel to it being in the neighborhood with the newer dorms. Having toured many dorms (and slept in two), none are horrible, none are ultra-luxe.
By the way, D is a zoology major but will be taking a couple animal science courses, more interested in wild than domesticated animals.
@Magnetron Very cool, I’m animal sci (possibly changing to zoology or wildlife ecology), interested working w/ wild animals too like in a zoo setting! I haven’t applied for housing yet. I’m not interested in joining a sorority so that’s why Goldsworthy isn’t my top choice, but i thought the 3 i listed were mainly freshmen? But thanks, i hope your D is enjoying WSU!
