any recommendations for freshman dorms? which one has the best location, rooms, common rooms, social aspects, etc....

You can't choose. It's "first come first serve", so whoever send in their deposit the earliest will get the best dorms.

is that true?? ^ ^ ^

Its true. Its stated right in the brown admission spiral folder that came with your acceptance letter......................

haha looks like i'll be rooming in a 3-person dorm cuz i left it to the last second. It's all good, make more friends that way.

I don't think that you necessairly get "better" dorms by submitting your deposit earlier. In fact, I don't think the housing has anything to do with the deposit. What they really want is for you to fill out the housing questionaire that will be availaible in early May on the portal. Whoever fills that out first will most likely get what they request.

No, that's for matching your roommate.

"you will receive your room assignment based on the date your enrollment deposit is received by the office of admissions without regard to race, religion, or national origin. lehigh believes in a first come, first served policy in order to be fair to all incoming students. the rooms with the LARGEST SQUARE FOOTAGE WILL BE ASSIGNED FIRST."

i hear that one of the centennial dorms (forgot if its i or ii) has the largest dorms by square footage.... according to people i've talked to, all the ED kids live together in one of the centennials (makes sense... since they send in their deposits first)

when did they say the hosuing requests/questionnaires would be available online? I thought it was May 1st, but theres nothing on the FYS page about housing yet.

I was looking for the questionaire in the portal, and saw something that said it can be done may 10th.
