Housing!!

I got # 375 for my housing contract number. Do you think I have a good shot for azalea or magnolia? I met this girl who has around 1700 and she wants to room. We get along really well, but I know my chances would be very small at such a high number. Should I keep my number and go random? or request her as my roommate and have a higher number

With #375 you will have your first choice. Capacity for both Azalea and Magnolia run around 450. Even with her number of 1700 (which is still good) there have been students drop out of the housing list because they were accepted to UF (and others). My son has a number around 1400 and if he doesn’t get Azalea or Magnolia, would would still get Deviney or Dorman, which are also really new (built in 2015). Weigh your options and decide what is more important to YOU - a room in Azalea/Magnolia or rooming with the girl and possibly ending up in D/D. Visit the FSU website and look at the buildings/rooms and decide https://housing.fsu.edu/current-residents/residence-halls#/home

My daughter got #374 and of course want Azalea or Magnolia. She also want a single. Is a single even possible with a lower number?
