Housing

So there's 3 of us from our school and we might want to get a triple. I know for a double, you can request a roommate, and if you both request each other, then you will most likely be rooming together in teh fall. What about for a triple? Can you say you want a triple and list 2 roomates? Or how does that work?

Or, is there a way that 2 of us could get a double and the other one get a single, but be guaranteed the same dorm?

You can get a triple to my knowledge. I know of several groups of people who requested triples and received them. You can't request singles.

but the cost isn't that different I believe, just some of the lower priced triples are 400 less than the higher priced ones, and the higher priced doubles aren't that more expensive

DeltaRoyale: your choices are pretty limited:

1). Request a triple (good chance of getting it)
2). Request double (you'll definitely get one of your preferred roommates) and the other one can go random
3). All three of you apply to the same FOCUS and get in (all three of you will live together but idk about specific room arrangements)
4). All three of you request selective living
a) Substance free (Brown)
b) Arts (Pegram)
You can all live in the same dorm, and maybe request a triple
5). Go random, which isn't a bad choice since college is all about meeting new people and stuff. Living together with 3 friends from high school might not be the best idea if you have a fight and get all awkward and stuff.

Take your pick. But remember that this isn't a hotel operation so you don't really get much say in the process.
