Next to each course I listed the credit. At my HS, 7 is considered normal, with one study both sem. 8 is a full load. My school doesn't really do honors classes except for English. In math and science you can be a year ahead as I was in geo. However, I elected to take the normal science as a frosh since you have to take a sem. of it as a soph anyway. As you can see I have a challenging course load planned out. I enjoy math and history much more than science as well.

Right now my GPA is an 11.714 on a 12 point scale which equals a 4.238. This is UW.

ECs-
Debate-many speaker awards, top at state, other championships
FBLA-active, 2nd place at regionals
Science Club-it's a club
Ski Team-JV, lots of time, few places
Tried out for tennis, cut
Drivers Ed this year

I plan to do forensics, student council, along with other clubs next year and in the future. As a junior, I will also do community service and be in NHS. I was honored by Whos, Whos, doesn't really matter. Also, this summer I have a job at the local pool.

How am I doing overall? Have I set myself up right? With good test scores do I have a chance at the Ivies. What about big ten schools like Wisc. and Michigan. UCs-Berkeley, Georgetown, etc.

Thats awful. Go to trade school.

Eh Ivies are reaches for nearly everyone...i hate evaluating for them.

Apart from that, you will prob be okay at Big Ten schools with good SATs. Maybe somewhat of a small chance at Cal and Georgetown as it stands now. You need to make sure you boost up your ECs, and do somethings that play to your interest. You enjoy math and history more than science and you're in science club? This isn't a big deal at all but you catch my drift.

I mean you're doing alright, but it's hard to say anything with any certainity until you get into your soph/jr yrs, get some test scores and more grades, etc, etc.

Right now though, I'd say you're on a good track, just keep the good grades, try to get some more ECs than the "intended" ones you have listed, and look for 2100+ on SATs (what am i talking about, you're in ninth grade...don't worry about the SATs right now!).

But yeah.

ur a frosh .... who cares..
