How are ACT superscores calculated?

I'm wondering how colleges are going to look at the scores I have. In March, I took the ACT without writing as part of a state requirement to graduate. I got 33 on English and 33/35/36 on the other three sections, which made my composite a 34. In September, I again took the ACT. However, I was sick and did not do so well. I got a composite score of 32. On the other hand, my English score was 34...but my essay score dropped my English back score to a 33.

If I were to send in both scores to a college that superscored, how would they be considered? Would I be considered to have a 35 superscored compsite or still a 34? Thanks.
