My son’s OU admission status page changed several days ago to add the ability to pay the $250 admission deposit. But it doesn’t say he’s been admitted, and he hasn’t received an email or any other notification that he’s been admitted. What should we expect? He applied to 2 different majors and we are curious whether he’s been admitted to one, both, or neither.
@TexasMom2017 It means OU has given admission. But notification is still in progress. You can call admission office and can discuss with them to confirm and also to find to which major accepted etc., Also remember you do not have to pay right away and can do it later in april/may. I forgot what date we got the notification (may be in Dec/Jan) but I paid $250 only in April.

@TexasMom2017 You can pay the $250 whenever, but I would make sure to pay the housing deposit as early as available. The earlier that is done, the higher priority the student has when it comes to housing decisions.

I know this thread is like a month old but the same thing popped up on my portal a few days ago and I was wondering if you remembered how long after that showed up you got your actual acceptance letter in the the mail. Thanks!
