The U is pretty expensive and I am just curious to how you guys are paying for it. Are you guys paying full, or what? Most of my friends are paying full. I received few scholarships; I will take out loans, work, and my parents will help me.

My parents are paying for it. It comes to about 20k (i’m out of state and they give me a scholarship). I guess it’s a little pricey but it could be a lot worse

Yeah, it could be worse Just panicking because I was watching few documentaries on debt today, haha.

At least I’ll be finished with school in hopefully 2.5-3 years.

Thanks for replying!

I’m fortunate enough to have my parents pay for the majority of it. It’s certainly expensive, but not outrageous compared to some private schools. Doing some required courses at community college helped cut down the cost a bit too.

Thanks for the response. Definitely feel a lot better now. Time to finish my essay, first year at the U finishes in two weeks then high school graduation.

My parents are paying for most of it, but I’m going to help out as much as I can with my job and hopefully a paid work study in the future.

wa wa waiittttttt. isnt the whole thing like 29000 total (inlcuding tuition and board and books and all) a year? but you still have to take out loans after ‘a few scholarships’? is the tuition actually higher than that? did i calculate everything wrong?? o_O panicpanicpanic

@boopdidoop1- haha relax you didn’t calculate. Actually I think it’s a tad less than that maybe 27

Didn’t calculate wrongly*

The bank of Mom and Dad, my savings from working during my senior year, and a loan from Uncle Sam will be helping me pay for school.

Tuition+ scholarship
