How do plan to spend the darn night as the decisions come out tomorrow?

I will start,

Get drunk and then sleep like a person deprived of sleep for a gazillion years. Then, wake up in the afternoon and check the decisions dot mit dot edu website for my admission status and then yell like crazy if I get in. I haven't decided about what I will do if I got rejected, maybe resume sleep?

Post your thoughts about your plans for the night.

GOOD LUCK TO EVERY MIT APPLICANT AWAITING DECISION TOMORROW!!!!!!!

Not so much on the alcohol thing. I’m kinda tired of waiting to see a decision that’s already been made (possibly days or weeks ago) that’s only going to say I probably didn’t get in. Heck, >90% of us won’t!

To all those who do: Congrats. You’re smarter than the rest of us! Prove it by being ahead of where the rest end up because we’re going to work to prove MIT wrong!

umm since the decisions are 11.30 at night here
if i get rejected which i will be i’ll just go and have a good night sleep

if a miracle happen i will run around the house scream jump and dance and then proceed to make sure the whole neighborhood is awake and celebrating :P

I tried to do the get drunk and wake up late. I was able to do the former, but not the latter. I woke up at 9 AM. It’s 11 AM here in Cairo, decisions are at 7:59 PM :S.

We planned on serving pie but couldn’t agree upon one so I executively decisioned and brought a strawberry cheesecake (to now be called a cheese pie) then older son’s girlfriend’s mom surprised us with homemade blueberry and apple pies. I guess we will be eating plenty of desserts. :)

smoda, we observed Pi Day yesterday in our lab, and we decided that cheesecake is indeed a pie, rather than a cake, because it is round and baked in a crust. So I agree with your decision to serve strawberry cheesecake on Pi Day. :)
