Anybody remember if there were any questions on soda pop and pressure??

Anyone get there grades back?

I got a 94. So frustrating, because there is that damned negative curve. I only lost 3 points. That should be higher than a 94 in my mind.

I don’t want to mention my grade right now I got over mastery, but with that damn curve i did worse than expected. Also my honest to god stupidd mistakes that I shouldnt have made.

I’ve been eating myself alive though because of it, anyone have any advice to get over it?

I got a 98 so I am happy. With that curve I was just hoping for the 90s.

if you feel motivated enough you could try the test again next June (not sure it is available in Jan anymore). Did you do many old practice exams?

I got a 100. I guess the colorless solution was correct after all. :D

@djumper
congrats! didn’t you get a 800 on the SAT in May? What is your secret???

My science teachers know all of the tricks to all standardized exams.

Well, your teachers have done a great job. Guess there’s a system to everything!

Okay so for the ionic radius graph is there an “accepted value” determined in the answer key (with the slight variation they allow) or is it based on what you got on your graph. My graph showed that the radius would be 120 and I know that’s a little high, so would I get any points off on either the graph or the question?

what are regents

For those types of questions, the answer is always x plus/minus y. OR a response consistent without the students graph.

If your answer was too far away from x but consistent with your graph, it’s really about how lenient your teacher is. They might mark it correct, or may mark it wrong along with your graph because they felt it was also drawn incorrectly, leading to your incorrect response.

Okay thanks! Well my graph showed it was exactly on 120 and I guess the answer was supposed to go from 115-119 I’ve heard, so maybe they’ll just count it? Haha

All the mistakes I made were stupid mistakes my chem teacher told me so. I’m retakking the regents again next year I honestly coudve scored a mid 90 if I went with my gut instinct

ohh, I got a 100 so I guess my answer worked. Good luck everyone!!!:)

lol got a 98 and didin’t even study for this at all
