So. Last year I had the 'smart' idea to sign up AP Human Geography for a 7th AP Class on top of the 6 required IB/AP Classes I need to take for Junior year. My teachers were bombarding me with assignments and my work was piling up. It was after the drop date and I had an A in the class. But I was also taking IB/AP Literature, IB/AP Calculus AB, IB/AP Biology, IB/AP Chemistry, IB/AP Spanish 4, and IB/AP U.S. History. So I dropped the course to focus on my required IB/AP Classes. I passed all the classes with an A and received 5's on all my AP Exams except a 4 in Spanish and U.S. History. Will that WP be a significant problem on my college transcript?

IMO, yes it does look bad. Since you got all A’s, it looks like you just wanted an easier course load instead of challenging yourself fully. How much will it matter in college admissions s? Probably not a lot. You’re still notches above people who took 5 APs and this itself will not restrict you from getting into any college, even HYPSM.
