So I start junior year next week, and everyone says that AP Chem is death at my school, personally I think its called hard because you can’t BS the class, which everyone at my school does, procrastinate and bs their way through classes’ with A’s. Anyway, how should I prepare for the class, because we have a really hard test, or so people have said, thats on the second day of school thats 15% of our grade, and I’m terrified, I am literally going through the AP Chem textbook right now. How should I prepare for the AP Exam and the class to ensure an A?
Bozemanscience! Google it, that dude is awesome.
Classes are different for everyone. Both my ap chemistry and ap calculus classes had reputations like that, and they were relatively easy. All depends on the work you put in and how easily you can gasp the concepts
Don’t worry too much. Study, ask for help, look stuff up online. You can do it
Thanks
Is Bozeman good?
@hailey5799 message me if you need help!
I took AP chem last year, and for most tests my teacher used ap free response questions. a great way to study is to practice those free response questions because they are all offered online with the answers explained. It was a super useful tool for both the exam and for the class itself
renee mccormick. youll be watching a lot of her videos. To answer your question, it really differs per person. I felt pre ap chem was easy and fun for me,so i took AP chem and it was hell. Lot of homework, but its these tech assignments called OWL, and they help you giving clues and stuff. Regardless though, too much homework, lab write ups, and work. Lab write ups are worse than the homework if you dont get them properly. It was the only other AP class i took in my senior year other than Physics 2.I was still in pre-cal. But out of all the trouble, i finally aced the AP test with a 3.
Yes, thank you!
