How bad is it if I did worse on the ACT a second time?

My top university is Stanford. Scores so far:

SAT: 2300 (750 CR, 770 M, 780 W)
SAT II: Math II (800), and I'm taking the Lit one in like a week

As for ACT, though, the first time, I got a 33, but the second time, I got 31! I hardly studied either time - I took it just because I thought it would be good. Since Stanford requires you send ALL your scores, I had to send both ACT scores. How badly do you think it will affect my chances (assuming my EC's and essays are good) if I did worse the second time?

On second thought, I did do better in a couple subsections, so on the Common App, when it asks for the highest score for each subsection, I was able to put scores from my second sitting twice. Do you think Stanford really even pays that much attention to the score reports? Or do they look at the application first?

Thanks.

Don’t all jump at once -__-

Your SAT scores are amazing, so the lower ACT score won’t matter. You’re worrying way too much about test scores; you should focus more on your application.

Okay thank you!!! Working on them :)

Don’t even send your ACT scores. To my knowledge, you can choose to send none of them.
