I didn’t complete precalculus until last June so I only knew the math on the math I test. I got a 760 on that and 690 on lit. I submitted those to all schools because schools either required or recommended them (besides a few that only considered them). I also took chem in January. I’m hoping for a 650+ but I doubt I did much better than that (only sending to Georgetown because they “strongly recommend” 3 tests). Are these mediocre scores going to really hurt me or just be considered an “eh” part of my application? My GPA is good, 4s on APs, and I have a good SAT I score.
The scores below 700 will hurt for those that require or strongly recommend.
@“Erin’s Dad” do you think it would be enough to count me out? The other parts of my application are on par for Georgetown. And if the school only “considers” them, would they just not really look at lower scores?
They won’t rule you out but you already know those schools will be reaches for you, or any applicant.
