How big is your backpack?

QUESTION:

Do you guys carry that much during school? Or just when you go home??

Because I can't imagine walking around school with that big of a backpack..
I can show up to some classes with my purse, pencil and some paper..and at the most a notebook or folder that I use to keep the notes we're using for the current chapter..and I usually just stick the notebook or folder in my purse.

I would feel awkward going to class with only a notebook and a pen.

i got a small sling backpack because i don't care a lot of things in my bag. I only put notebooks and paper.
Oh yeah and my favorite pen, Pilot G-2 05

I would feel awkward with anything more than this, other than a calculator or something.

incredibly tiny. It's a bitty tote that, at bursting capacity, can hold a binder, a thinish textbook, and 3 1-subject notebooks. Luckily I only carry an expandable folder and 1-subject notebook

In my backpack:

Geometry textbook...always carry it - always use it
Spanish textbook...always carry it - mostly use it...very thin...width = 5 subject notebook
(2) 5 subject notebooks
A couple thin folders

It's a pretty light load...my locker is conveniently located, so in there I keep:

History textbook
English textbook - which is fracking huge!

My biology teacher lets us leave our texts in his room on a shelf, so unless I have homework that requires the book (rarely), I just leave it in his room.

Although this weekend I had to bring home my English and Bio book for homework..ughh

I think I've been overworking my backpack cause it attacked me the other day...now I have a bandage on my wrist that makes me look like a cutter...
It looks pretty small but can actually fit quite a bit:
1 expando
3 textbooks of varying size
2 workbooks

i don't have one. i just carry a binder around.

i barely ever take notes =/ i'm lazy.
