How brutal is a 20 unit semester?

Alright, so I’m applying for an exchange to UC and currently sorting out my study plan. Unfortunately I picked the worst semester to do an exchange in as I would need to fill in four papers at my home university in one quarter. So here’s the question. If I was to take five papers at UCI, Two lower division MAE papers, one upper division MAE paper, one upper division Engineering paper and a lower division EECS paper. How brutal would it be? (These papers being ENGRMAE80, ENGRMAE91, ENGRMAE120, ENG190W and EECS40).
On the other hand, if someone can recommend me a undergrad paper that contain two of the following:

  • Thermodynamics
  • Heat transfer
  • Fluid mechanics
    That would be epic and I will crown you my savior.

UCI is on a quarter schedule, not semester. If it was your first time doing quarter, you’re probably screwed. I’m doing 16 right now and it isn’t too bad though, but that’s after adjusting to the (BRUTAL)pace.
