I have taken a few Princeton Review practice tests and on the latest test i took i got the following score:
Critical Reading: 550
Math: 800
Writing: 800

Well i know a practice test is not a true test and scores may vary on a real test but i m pretty sure that i will get 800 on both Math and Writing in the real test as well. I have already registered for may 7 and really want to increase the CR score by around 200. I know i have little time left, so what can I do to increase the CR score within this short time? Please help.

Memorize vocabulary.

Take more practice tests? Look up what specific themes mean and whatnot. It’s pretty common to have a crappy CR score anyway.

Overconfidence may be a bad friend…Are you sure you don’t want to do some review?

how about you stop bubbling the wrong answer you dipsh#t!!

jk :D

@mirage20 well that’s not my overconfidence because i have taken many sets and got 800 on all. But that still doesn’t mean i won’y review maths and writing. It’s just that my CR is extremely weak and i really need to work very hard on that. Anyway thanks for a reminder! :)

@future: i dun think dat made sense!

Memorize vocabulary and read newspapers.

You’re almost there, CR is hard to improve, but I highly suggest you memorize the vocabulary from the Direct Hits Vocab book, that should boost your 550 CR to about a 630-650 and simply just take more practice tests to improve your passage reading so that you can break that 700 barrier.
