Hi everyone,
I'll take my second SAT in 4th of December. I have a couple of questions:
Math: In general it's very good, but I was very nervous in October SAT and this is a reson why I failed my Math. What should I do?
CR: I know first volume of Direct Hits. Iam going to memorize 1000 Common Words+Barron's 3500 review+Jane Austen novels
WR: I like narrative essays that is why I shall write narrative one. In MC, I need just review.

I need at least 2000 in December, what can you, guys, advice to me?
Thanks.

I don’t know if you have already, but I’d go over silverturtle’s sticky. I’d go through StrangeCamus’s Grammar Guide, and I’d definitely hit up Noitaraperp’sCR strat. All of this can be found in the best of SAT prep sticky.

Math: It’s okay to be nervous. I’m always nervous about tests. In fact, I have two math tests coming up this week (one in Differentials and one in Linear Algebra). Something that’s helped me is to pretend like it was just you and the test. And that although you’ll have to work fast, just take it like a homework assignment. An alternative to this (it might sound juvenile) for me is thinking about being in my room doing the practice tests and imagining it was just like that.

Writing: Can’t really say much. Write a great essay and make sure you know your grammar rules. I went from a projected 730 by ear to a 650 on the next practice test by not knowing what the heck I was actually doing on the MC.
