How can I raise my GPA if I'm a senior in high school?

Hello! I have a question: is there anything I can do to raise my GPA (it’s a B right now) for example can I take classes at a comunity college or some other high school and then add those grades to my high school GPA? Or do anything else that can raise my GPA up?

Generally, there’s not much you can do to improve your GPA after the Summer before Sr year. Few schools will look at your first semester Sr performance before making the decision to admit you. Also, mathematically, a 4.0 one semester and 6 semesters of 3.0 would only bring you to 3.15.

It depends a little on where you plan to apply. There are schools who accept applications after you have your Fall term grades.

Not to worry though, there are LOTS of colleges available to 3.0 students. In most areas, CCs are also a viable option.

Good luck.

Thank you!
