How can I succeed in AP Calc BC?

I’m doing so bad in this class! I got a C on the first test, and a D on both quizzes, and these are the only grades in the grade book. How can I ace this class? Or at least get a B? All the tests and quizzes are multiple choice.

I’m a good test taker (gotten 4 or above on all AP tests), and I got A’s in algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra 2 w/Trig (except for 1st semester-got a B). The second semester of algebra 2 I got a 98 semester grade, and I was so proud of myself because I accomplished this by brute force. I studied math every day. But now it’s like I don’t have the time. I often don’t get to my Calc HW bc I do all my other Hw first, and by the end, I’m too tired to even think about math.

I have a 73%, and we have 1 month till the end of the quarter. I want to bring it up to a B

How well do you understand the material? Some BC classes assume you’ve taken AB so I don’t know about your case.

Did you take pre-calc? or a full semester of trig alone? Sounds like you might not be ready for it. Consider dropping down to a lower class and taking calc next year. If you don’t plan to spend time with your instructor afterschool or take advantage of any tutoring services your school offers.

Our Alg 2 w/Trig class is the only prerequisite for Calc and it serves as the precalculus class also @MITer94 @nw2this

@ZBlue17 but does your BC class assume you know AB material? If your school offers an AB class, it might be a better fit for you.

@MITer94 no, it doesn’t bc everyone else in the class was also in my Alg 2 w/trig class. So we go over AB in there too. My Calc BCUZ class is also math HL

Study… learn the material…intuitively understand the concepts…
