How close do courses have to be to transfer over?

<p>For those who have successfully transfered, do credits usually transfer no problem? I'm not talking about stuff like sciences or foreign language. More like political science, where courses are not identifcal from dept to dept. So if I take a class on, say, Marxism, but my new college doesn't have a class on Marxism, I'm screwed?</p>

<p>you probably are. sometimes they will find an equivalent class or count it as an elective or something.</p>
