Test scores are definitely the weakest part of my application. However, I’m a very good writer, my extracurriculars are in context of each other and tell a story, and I think I posses traits of the typical “Barnard woman.” My question is, how heavily are IB courses considered in the admissions decision process? I took five IB classes my Junior year and I’m currently taking 3 IB and 1 AP classes. I’ve taken the highest level IB English, History and Science classes in my school’s IB curriculum. Does Barnard use IB classes to indicate college readiness/ability to study rigorous curriculum as they do with test scores? Thank you!
