For those who don’t know what Naviance is, it’s basically a tool that most high schools have which shows college acceptances from specific high schools for multiple years and helps you to estimate your chances. Anyways, every satellite campus is listed under Penn State, but nothing for UP. There is one category listed as “Penn State - All Campuses”, which I suppose includes UP as most students don’t go to satellite campuses, but still there is no way to know for sure. All other schools that have satellite campuses have a section for their main campus, I just found it weird how PSU doesn’t. Makes it harder to estimate your chances too because I have no way of knowing if the scatter gram includes branch campuses or not.
You sure it’s not under “University Park,” “Main Campus,” or just plain “Penn State”? Sometimes when I have to pick my school from dropdown lists, they have the satellite campuses formatted like “Penn State Altoona” while main campus is “The Pennsylvania State University.”
@bodangles Nope, 20 branch campuses are listed (none of which have any applicant data or scattergrams) and then there is “Penn State - All Campuses” which has a scattergram and applicant data; I just don’t know if it’s accurate because “All Campuses” implies that it includes branch campuses.
By the way, under “Penn State - All Campuses”, the average accepted stats are listed as 3.67 weighted GPA and 1243/1600 SAT. But this is just for my school specifically.
I noticed that too last year when I was looking for my son. It’s so misleading to lump all Penn State acceptances into one.
Yeah mine says the same thing and this makes it hard to understand the stats of accepted students.
