I heard it's harder to get in than Marshall.
And what are the pre-req's by the way?

competitive.

[Welcome to ASSIST](http://assist.org).

FYI marshal doesn’t even have THAT great a name, it’s not a target school. UCLA is at least semi target.

also major doesn’t matter THAT much if you’re going into business, the higher tiered jobs care more about grades, what you’ve done internship wise, and demonstrated interest.

It may be marginally harder to get in but not a ton, but VERY COMPETITIVE.
Prereqs: Calc 1 and 2, micro, macro, managerial and financial acct, and a second semester of english. go on assist dude.

Its very, very hard to get into.

Look at the new stats:

[Profile of Admitted Transfer Students by Major, Fall 2010 - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/Adm_tr/Tr_Prof10_mjr.htm)

Admit rate: 14.04%
Average GPA of admitted: 3.94

And they mean it. I applied with a 3.9 gpa and was rejected.

i’d suggest you finish all the prereqs for biz econ and apply as an econ/intl area major. after you are accepted to ucla, you can still be officially accepted into biz econ as long as you meet the requirement.
