How competitive is upper-division/transfer admission to CS?

<p>Is it significantly more competitive than the other engineering majors? I ask this because a disproportionate amount of transfer students needed a 4.0 to get in, as opposed to as low as 3.0 for EE.</p>

<p>Everything will really depend heavily upon your completion of the prerequisites, and how well you did in them. Computer Science is hard enough to get in as a student at the UW, acceptance as a transfer student will be even more difficult.</p>
