Hi,
If one looks at my profile, one can see my other stats, including my 33 ACT and 3.92 GPA and several uniquely compelling ECs. I am wondering, given the other aspects of my profile, how detrimental SAT IIs 690 USH and 700 Math I will be for schools such as Penn and Harvard.
Those are pretty good scores. However, they are below average for Penn and Harvard. I’m not sure about Penn, but I know Harvard lets you choose what scores you send them. So if you retake the same/different tests and score higher you should send those instead. If you think you can score higher, I think you should retake. Good luck!
They are low, but you can choose SAT2 scores to send in general
@asianfang @CDOESenior2k16 I already applied.
Then they will likely be a detriment to your application
@asianfang Of course-but how much? Keep in mind that I also have a massive ld.
Well, there’s no way that I would know how much. I think getting those scores with a learning disorder is actually pretty impressive though, so it wouldn’t hurt you as much as a normal applicant with those scores
@asianfang Ok. That’s important to know. I did disclose the fact that I have ADHD in my app-it was my CommonApp essay, actually. However, it was sort of about minimizing its impact on me outside of the classroom so I don’t know if that will weaken the justification of those scores.
