how did UCSC know i wasnt going to attend?

<p>i was going to go online to decline my SIR, and this message showed up. </p>

<p>"We have received your request to withdraw your fall 2011 application. Per your request, that application has been withdrawn from further consideration."</p>

<p>I submitted my SIR to another UC, is that how they know?? Withdraw? i never asked them to withdraw my application.</p>

<p>That must be it. I think that’s actually very smart if they have that kind of system in place, so that your spot goes to someone who truly does want it.</p>
