So I applied to UF around October and I did not send my SAT scores to them right away. I was waiting a little bit since the deadline was December 15. I did not pay College board nor did I use a score report to send my scores to UF. I did send them to another college through the free score report, but not to UF. However, when I check the “Application Check” screen it says my scores were received October 31st. The screen shows the correct date and score for all my tests so I’m very confused on how UF got them? I even called the office of admissions and they said if its showing received on the screen, then it’s been somehow received. Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone have an explanation? Not that I’m complaining, its just interesting on how this happened.
UF sees and knows all…
I’m a little surprised UF had them. If you shared your scores with the state (like in a Bright Futures application), UF may have gotten them that way…
Either way, I would never depend on that method, students should always send their test scores. Don’t worry about sending your first scores, which may be low, UF will only consider the highest scores they receive.
From past friends if you allow it and it’s a score that fits their wanted scores they will get it! Just like Other testing scores as a friend got a full ride to their mba program after they got his gmat score
