I'm taking my first AP tomorrow (AP Euro) and I'm really nervous (I feel relatively prepared, although I feel like there is still a lot that I don't know) and think I'll get either a 4 or 5. How did you feel after your first? I hear a lot of people feel like they failed afterwards, true? So just feel how it was.

Took my first AP- Psychology- this year. My reaction upon handing in the final FRQ packet:
“Bombed that ****.”

Though according to a few Peterson’s practice tests I have, I’m borderline 4/5 on tomorrow’s AP Euro (minus the FRQs, of course).

“I hate modern art.”

Don’t worry, I freaked out on the first AP exam I took and I got a 5. You’ll find that you may do better than you anticipate.

My first AP was World History during sophomore year
(back then, I wasn’t really motivated at all to do well in high school.

I felt terrible since I didn’t study at all before the exam.
Somehow managed a 3 (I had high confidence it was my essays that pulled me through)

I wish I ran into college confidential earlier…
like before my freshman year
because I didn’t care about APs at all.

Now I’m actually studying with my APs (like throughout the year)

My first AP was World back in sophomore year. After I got out of the test I felt confident. My essays were suckish (I only got good at writing in my junior year AP English) but I knew I rocked the MC. My confidence was well merited.

“I regret signing up for another Spanish class next year…” after my AP Spanish Lang exam

Took my first one today (literature) and surprisingly thought, “that was much easier than expected. Not as hard as everyone made it out to be.”

My first was AP Human, thought I failed it. But got a 4… surprisingly. God’s miracle.

I took AP European History in sophomore year while taking the class, and it wasn’t that hard. With AP history, they really just want to see what you know, so if you think some random historical fact fits into essay prompt, just drop it in there with some explanation as to how it relates to your thesis.

I got a 4 even though I only knew like 2 facts for the second FRQ. I just kept writing until I finished 4/5 paragraphs… still have no idea how I did that.

My first was APUSH.
I was almost confident I would get a 5, but out of nervousness I still studied the whole weekend (literally the WHOLE weekend)… so yeah I was pretty prepared. On the other hand, after taking AP Chem this Monday, which I brushed off, I was feeling pretty nervous and annoying for not studying well as I could have.

First was AP Bio. I don’t recall exactly how I felt, but I know I was damn relieved.

My first was Calc BC. I was justifiably confident of a 5, but my 1st thought after the exam was “****, I wrote the wrong taylor series for cos x. I got all of FRQ #6. There goes my 5.”

APUSH last year. The DBQ was Puritans, which is my forte, so I was pretty glad about that. And I’m always pretty good about MC. Unfortunately, I was discussing one of the FRQs with my friends, and I found out I missed a major point on one of the essays… got a 4. :/

My first was AP Euro. I studied a fair amount, and was blessed with good essay topics. I was totally burned out afterwards, but I got a 5, so it’s all good :)

StrawberryYogurt is my thought-twin. I even had some strawberry yogurt earlier today.

My first AP test was Calculus AB this year and I left the testing knowing I got a 1. My teacher seriously taught us nothing at all. Everyone from my class who took the test also bombed it.

I knew one question. Total.

I walked out of that room feeling like a champ. Easy 5!

My first one was Chem. I studied a ton so I felt good after the test. My second one was HG, I walked out of the test feeling like “*” I didn’t know *. I ended up getting a 5 though.

My first exam was AP Human Geography in the 9th grade. My teacher was horrible, wacko, and did not teach us anything. It was basically a self study. She was just an awful teacher and she hated me because I would always go against what she said. I got a 5 and she’s been nice to me ever since. Because if she didn’t get at least 2 fives in the class, she would be in jeopardy of her job, since everyone else got 2s.
